ABOUT THE JOB

As coaches we guide and develop our students along the path to become data analysts or upskill themselves along the dimensions of problem solving, technical data analysis and communication. The role of coach, in addition to technical expertise, requires a good understanding of people and their motivations as well as methods for introducing complex topics to new practitioners. Each day and each course is different and presents a mixture of challenges that require application of diverse skills such as people leadership, technical expertise, presentation and communication. We work in an agile way in which we are always experimenting with our material in order to create great outcomes for our students. 

Responsibilities:

• Our 12-week courses require teaching, coaching and mentoring activities

• You will be involved in delivering lectures and supporting the practical exercises of our students, shaping the next generation of Data Analysts

• You will be mentoring peers and students

• You will work with a team of coaches with whom you will need to coordinate and collaborate regularly 

• You help to develop a corporate culture that is based on honesty and equality for the benefit of our course participants and employees

• You keep yourself up to date with the current state of the art in analytics, data engineering, data science and consulting and develop expertise in specific areas

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a Senior Coach (full/part time) who is passionate and experienced in analytics in order to carry out and be responsible for our training courses remotely or in one of our locations. You would be joining a diverse and international data coaching team.   

• Relevant mid/senior experience in Industry as an Analyst or technical consultant

• Relevant mentoring experience of juniors

• Experience and expertise in some of the following technical areas: Python, Pandas, Numpy, SQL, Tableau (or similar), KPI development, modelling, spreadsheets, 

• Experience as a teacher or willingness to learn (any past teaching experience counts)

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• A team player with a collaborative mindset and personal responsibility

• Fluency in English

 What you can expect in your first 6 months: 

• First Week: You will get your equipment, have your first one on one and participate in a running bootcamp.

• First Month: You familiarize yourself with the contents and structure of the bootcamp. You participate in the routine meetings of one bootcamp and already answer small questions that students have related to the content and exercises. You might even teach one small lecture on a topic you feel confident with.

• After 2 Months: You become the lead coach of one of the bootcamps, holding lectures with full responsibility, supported by a team of coaches
