Andrew, our Head Coach for Data Analytics, has over 15 years of industry experience in both small start-ups and large companies. As a link between analytics and management, he could always create a data-based basis for decision-making. He would like to share these experiences with up-and-coming talents in New Fish and thus help them to their own success story in the IT world. You can find out more about this in the post!
What did Andrew do before neue fische?
During his studies in Economics (Bachelor, USA) and Logistics Management (Master, Australia), Andrew has traveled quite a bit around the world. He has over 15 years of industry experience in his Data Analytics department and has always acted as an interface between analytics and management to support data-based decision-making - both in start-ups and in large international companies such as Maersk and Suntory. Before joining neue fische, he was Head of Analytics at FREE NOW. There he built the analytics department into a team of 18 analysts supporting product, operations, finance and sales to become more data-driven.
Why did Andrew come to neue fische?
In order to further deepen his programming skills and his expertise in the field of machine learning, Andrew decided to take part in the Data Science bootcamp from neue fische in 2020. Convinced of the concept, he then quickly developed the Data Analytics bootcamp in order to share his know-how with a wide variety of people in a short time and to help them (cross-) entry into IT.
And what does Andrew do in his free time?
Curious as he is, Andrew also likes to explore new places in nature in his free time - either hiking or cycling...
