As part of the Hamburg IT Strategy Days, the class reunion of the CIOs and CTOs of the German economy, innovators who ensure more diversity and more young talent in IT were once again honored on 22.02.2024.

The ITEC Cares Award 2024 in the Corporate Commitment category goes to neue fische - School and Pool for Digital Talent

The jury recognized us for the design and implementation of our Data Part-Time program, which is explicitly aimed at mothers and single parents on or after parental leave and prepares them specifically for re-entry into careers with a future.

Why is this important? The Federal Ministry for Family Affairs estimates that around 840,000 more full-time positions could be filled if mothers of under-fives were able to work as they wished. In purely mathematical terms, this would almost completely solve the shortage of skilled workers!

Of course, this is only possible with improved childcare. But women's skills must also match the professions and requirements in which there is currently a shortage. And the training times for these women must also fit in with life with small children.
This is exactly where our offer comes in. By focusing on the needs of women in terms of time and content, we guide women back into employment, help to combat the shortage of skilled workers and create new role models for working moms in IT.
